Sue Rowe's 1st Care for Children is a member of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program which is administered by Community Coordinated Child Care of Dane County. All children who are eating solid food, including babies who eat baby food but are supplemented with "finger" foods, will receive two (2) snacks and one (1) lunch each day. No child will go without nourishment for longer than 3 hours. Parents will receive a Food Program Signup form to complete at the time of enrollment. See USDA Minimum Requirements here.

Meal/Snack Schedule

Morning Snack - 8:30 - 9:30 am

Lunch - 11:00 am - 12:00 noon

Afternoon Snack - 2:00 - 3:00 pm

Daily Menus for Snacks and Meals are recorded and submitted to USDA Food Program Administering Agency for Review. Parents may also request to review daily menus.

Food Allergies and Special Diets
Parents must inform Sue Rowe if a child has a specific food allergy. Common allergies are: dairy, eggs, strawberries and nuts. Allergies of individual children are posted for Provider and Assistant. If soy milk or formula is required, parents must provide the soy milk every day for their child. If a special diet is required, parents must provide the special meals and snacks for their child every day.
