Fees

Sue's House accepts payments by Friday of each week electronically by Zelle payment, personal check or cash.

If paying by Zelle, use Sue's cell phone number (608-575-0026) for reference.

Make checks payable to Sue Rowe.

Care schedules are available full time, part time/full day, and drop in/full day. For part-time or part-week child care schedules, parents must commit and agree to pay for a specific number of days per week. Children enrolled on a drop in basis choose from availability in our child care schedule and pay for each day the child is present for child care.

For permanent full-time and part-time children, child care payments are charged when children are absent due to their vacation or illness.

Drop ins must give 2 weeks notice when cancelling a reserved day to avoid the daily fee.

Provider Sick Pay
Sue Rowe receives five (5) paid sick days during any calendar year for children that are cared for on a full-time basis. Parents of children who are cared for on a part-time basis are responsible for 1 paid sick day per year for each day per week committed to by parents for child care.

Provider Vacations
When Sue takes a vacation, two assistant providers will be present except in the event that, due to other work or school commitments, no assistant is available. In that event, an early pick-up or closing for a child care day may be necessary. For the vacation days when the child care home is closed, Sue Rowe receives up to two (2) weeks paid vacation during any calendar year for children that are cared for on a full-time basis. Parents of children who are cared for on a part-time basis are responsible for one (1) paid vacation day per year for each day per week committed to by parents for child care.

Co-payments
For Wisconsin Shares families, weekly co-payments will be determined once the county has submitted an authorization and a rate of reimbursement has been determined.

Fee for Late Payment
There will be a $5.00 per day charge for late payment if payment is not tendered in a timely fashion as stated above.

Deposit
At the time parents sign the parent/provider agreement, a deposit equal to one (1) week of child care fees will be accepted. This deposit is applied to the child's last week of child care service.

1 Week Fees per Month
If parent(s) would like to enroll their baby or child for an opening at Sue Rowe's 1st Care for Children in the future or extend the start date as stated in the Parent/Provider Agreement, a Holding Fee of 1/2 child care fees will be accepted until the baby or child begins child care.

Receipts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Year-End Accounting
Sue Rowe will provide parents with receipts for their employer-sponsored flexible spending accounts if requested by email or phone. Alternatively, Sue will sign an "official" form associated with an employer-sponsored flexible spending account provided by the parent, provided the reimbursement amounts are accurate.

PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN YEAR-END ACCOUNTING FOR CHILD CARE EXPENSES
